30 Years of Dizzy is Celebrated at the National Videogame Arcade!
Join the National Videogame Arcade as we celebrate 30 years of Dizzy with a brand new exhibition and exclusive events!
In 1987, Philip and Andrew Oliver unleashed Dizzy upon the world. This lovable egg would go on to become Europe's best-loved videogame character. After thirty years, millions of sales, and countless no.1 selling games later, the Oliver Twins have teamed up with the National Videogame Arcade to hatch plans for a special new exhibition and series of events to celebrate the 30th anniversary.

Philip & Andrew Oliver are pioneers in the UK games industry.
At around the age of 12 the twins began their careers writing games for the UK games market, including the highly regarded Dizzy franchise. In 1990 they founded Blitz Games Studios which at its height employed 235 people.
In 2013 they set up a new studio called Radiant Worlds along with their long term friend Richard Smithies, focusing on games as a service.

Andrew oliver
“We're so proud people still harbour such fond memories of the Dizzy games, and we hope people will enjoy the behind the scenes information about how the games were made as well as a chance to play them again.”
