When are the galleries open?

During school term time The NVA Galleries are open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 10am until 6pm.

During School holidays The NVA Galleries are open every day from 10am until 6pm.

How do I buy tickets?

You can buy your tickets via our website HERE, or over the phone by calling our reception desk on: 0115 881 3091.

You can also buy your tickets in person on the day, but we advise if you're making a special visit, to buy your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.

How do I get there?

The National Videogame Arcade is located at:
24-32 Carlton Street, Nottingham, NG1 1NN.

We are 15 minutes walk from Nottingham Train Station,
Less than 5 minutes walk from the closest carpark,
And just a minute’s walk away from the closest tram stop.

How long can I play for?

Your entry ticket allows to you to play all day from 10am till 6pm with unlimited re-entry.

What Games do you have?

We have over 70 games ranging from classic arcade cabinets to virtual reality. These games are displayed on our 'now-playing' board in our lobby and online.

Do I have to pay for the games once I am in?

Not at all, your entry ticket gives you access to everything inside the galleries.

What age range is the NVA suitable for?

Our exhibits are suitable for everyone, although games are very varied things and peoples' interests will of course vary. 
We might exhibit more mature content from time to time, but we always make sure to notify visitors of this in advance.

If I don’t play the games do I still have to buy a ticket?

Yes, afraid so. 

Can I book the VR before my visit?

Our VR experience can be booked on the day of visit in the lobby.
